These terms govern your use of this website and the services provided by CloseMyBoat.com (Chesapeake Yacht Services). By using this site or engaging our services, you agree to them.
Our services
We provide escrow coordination, transaction documentation and closing coordination for the sale of boats and yachts. The specific services, fees and conditions for any transaction are set out in the closing and escrow agreement signed by the parties, which controls if it differs from these terms.
Not legal, tax or survey advice
Nothing on this website is legal, tax or financial advice, and we do not act as attorney for any party to a transaction unless a separate engagement says so in writing. We do not survey or inspect vessels; buyers are responsible for arranging any survey or inspection they want.
Fees
Fees are quoted per transaction and confirmed in the closing and escrow agreement before work begins. Call, text or email for a quote.
Escrow
Funds held in escrow are disbursed only in accordance with the executed agreement and written instructions of the parties. Deposits are applied or returned according to the purchase and sale agreement. Escrow funds are held by Final Approach Law; processing and closing are handled by Chesapeake Yacht Services.
Accuracy of information
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide on the intake form and during the transaction. We rely on it to prepare documents and to verify ownership and liens.
